SUNFLOWER was sold on 27.1.1921 to the Rangoon Port Commissioners as LANBYA (just like PANSY on 12.1.1920 to the Calcutta Port Commissioners). Therefore retroceded to her owners means returned to these Authorities after the Japanese service. Final fate is not known to me for both vessels: not in Lenton nor in Jentschura/Jung/Mickel.
However, Miramar has a different story for both:
SUNFLOWER: 1921 LANBYA, 1923 YASHIMA MARU for Osaka Shosen KK, 1940 MIYAJIMA MARU for Tochigi Kisen, lost 14.5.1945 by mine 34'20" N 134'50" E.
PANSY: deleted 1923, still existing 1937.
