With regards to D/S " Telnes ", my uncle
Finn William Dagsvik went down with the vessel. He signed on the vessel I believe in
Aug/September 1939. He was just engaged to a wonderful lady and they planned to get married. But he never returned. He went down with ship.
I believe I heared that the vessel was loaded with ammunition ??, but I am not sure.
The ship just vanished.
2 off Finn's brohters ( my other 2 uncles) sailed through the entire war, one came home in 1945 and the other came home in 1946.
