Maybe time has eroded his memory somewhat with the actual dates. He is away at the moment, but I will be seeing him in person on Wednesday at our local MNA branch meeting. He lost his Discharge Book some time ago, so I will have to see about obtaining a copy of his sea service from the PRO. I'll ask about anyone he may remember.
