Good morning alltogether
After reading all answers i'm more confused like before.
About the Gyller it's possible that she fired on Seattle, because she knowed the Seattle very well. She was the escort one day before for Seattle from Stavanger to Kristiansand.
The KTB from Karlsruhe is not mentioning any aircrafts attacking the Seattle. The says the ship got hit, bit if my interprtation is correct this were hits from the shore.
According to Dinklage / Witthöft the aircraft over the Seattle was a single norwegian aircraft. This aircraft was not attacking Seatle.
Are there any more KTB entries available (i.e. Torpedoboote Luchs and Seeadler, norwegian and german aircraft attacks at this time and place, norwegian sources about the battery Odderöe and Zerstörer Gyller) ????
Thanks in advance
Axel
