Jean Michel,

Me and my crew of a Whitley Bomber were saved by the gallant crew of HM Kurd, when we "ditched" into the North Sea. not that far from Grimsby on the night of 15/09/1940, they actually came into a minefield to save us then carried on with their duties eventually dropping the five of us in Grimsby where we went on a "pub crawl", before being taken back to our station, RAF 10Sqdn Leeming Yorks./
