steamer PORI?

Reported that a steamer" PORI, reg Mariehamn", was taken into Lerwick for examination in c1940.

Cannot find such listed anywhere. Perhaps the name has been garbled.

There was a Finnish steamer BJÖRNEBORG (the Swedish name for the town of Pori) of Helsinki, that was transferred to the port of Mariehamn by the end of the war - or is that a bit circuitous?
