Hi all,
I'm trying to know number of casualties on board HMS Trinidad sunk by Ju-88 bombers in the Arctic 15 May 1942.
On 29 March 1942 the ship had 32 killed after being hit by one of her own torpedos and german gunfire from German destroyers in a sea battle. Is this right?
On 15 May 1942 was sunk by German bombers in the Arctic.
According to my notes (but I'm not sure) there were:
43 crew killed
20 crew from Edinburgh as passengers killed
Unknown number of merchantmen killed.
Is this ok? Any more accurate details?
Thank you very much
Jordi
