Hello There,

I am responding to a post I found today on Warsailors website looking for any crewmember that may have been onboard M/T JALANTA during the collision with American Cruise Liner S/S CONSTITUTION in March of 1959 oustide New York.

I believe my father, Desmond Julien might have been onboard at the time.

He must have been an Ordinary Seaman at the time (he was only 18 years old). This was at the start of his career as a Merchant Mariner.

My Father is nearly 74 years old now, and still enjoys "going back in time".
