I spent some time on that site, but I'm not sure I found anything. I didn't want to order some papers I wasn't sure would contain information about Dad.

I put Reed, George, and Reed, David, and the names of the ships as well as Merchant Marine, and Norwegian Fleet as search words. Dad only served on one British ship.

Have you got any advice on searching?
