Hi Siri
Here is some more info on the ship,s you were asking for according if they were in homefleet or domestic during WWII:
"ARKTOS"(LCHK/1920)
was a sealer/freighter which was catching for seals at the Newfoundland Banks in april 1940. They decided to go to St.John's(NF). After that she was under control by Nortraship's Fisheryoffice.
Actually here homeport was Brandal near Ålesund owned from 1939 by P/R Arktos (Karl Karlsen,Brandal(2/3) and Bernt K.Marø,Borgund(1/3)). Fisheryno.: M-14-HD. Port of Registry remains Ålesund.
She was rebuilt in 1939 into a motorvessel and got a new tonnage in January 1940:419,04 gt. Her old tonnage was 437,93 gt.
Her new engine was an Atlas Diesel of 640 bhp.

"BALAKLAVA"(SHAN/1929)
The question is if this vessel belongs to this web-site at all.
"Balaklava" was sold from Rederi AB Transmark, Gothenburg to Carl Olsens Tankrederi A/S, Arendal in 3.1937. The contract said that the vessel should be delivered to the new owners in 12.1939. Because of the war the vessel was never taken over by the Norwegian company, so she was never under Norwegian flag.
The vessel was instead sold 01.04.1940 to Rederi AB Pagota, Kungsbacka and renamed "Trykon". She was broken up in Ystad 6.1959.

"BANAN" (LCMJ/1913)
In the "Homefleet". Under German Control from 18.09.1940.
"BAUTA" (LFLA/1919)
I have no war history for this vessel but she survived the war and was sold to Liberia 12.1951.
"BELPAMELA" (LGBA/1928)
In the "Homefleet". Under German Control from 12.07.1940. 28.02.1943 an Reikosee abgegeben (may be some of our German friends can translate this note).
"BESS" (LKEU/1939)
In the "Homefleet". Mainly in use by "Statens Kornforretning" during the war.
Then the only one that war history is missing is "BAUTA"(LCMJ)
