Rohwer is not correct this time.
The wreck of the British Councillor lies in 53°44'42N/00°24'05E. This is too far from the attack position and the tanker was en route along the British coast in a convoy. Not from Norway to Britian. The description of the attack and the Norwegian flag on the vessel does not fit.
