Hello Jordi,
SAN ISIDRO (flying Spanish colours but German-controlled)was on passage from Santorini to Piraeus. Attacked at 1000/5 April. Approximate position of sinking is 37°23' N, 24°23' E, about 200 meters from coast. There were 16 survivors, three of the crew (two Spaniards and one Greek) and four passengers (three of them women) were missing. She was supposed to be converted to a refrigeration vessel, so this was probably the main purpose of the trip but Commander Laskos of KATSONIS described her as fully loaded. Sorry but do not know her cargo.
Best regards,
Platon
