Hi Everybody,
There might be some confusion between two french Requin-class submarines sunk by mines off the tunisian coast in 1940. In 1954-56, the wreck of Morse was worked on by the italian company COFIREMA and the remains of the crew were withdrawn from the hull in january 1956 then buried in the Sfax military cemetary. The second one, Narval, was first said to have been depth charged by an italian destroyer then appeared in 1957 lost to an italian mine. To my knowledge, Narval wreck remained untouched but I might be wrong.
