I don't think any cargoes other than those already on board at 10.6.1940. The emphasis was on escape: these ships were not modern, fast blockade-runners, except for the tanker FRANCO MARTELLI (which was lost). Any protracted loading of new cargoes would have alerted the British observers present in the port towns. Brazil was not Spain nor Portugal, i.e. sympathetic neutrals (in 1941).
