Hello Brian V. and Michael Lowrey.
Thank you indeed for exellent info, just what I was looking for! My original source was an old Norwegian whaling related book.
There is a small conflict re. the year Wentworth was sold to Norway. According to my source, the ship became Hektoria in 1911. It also tells that Hektoria were in use as a factory ship, and based at Deception Island, SSI in the whaling seasons 1911/12 to 1913/14. Perhaps Hektor whaling co leased the vessel before purchasing it?
After the outbreak of WW 1, Hektoria were used as a oil transport ship.
The date of the torpedoing, 26.04.17 could be right. I can't document "my" date, (16.04.17).
Best regards,
Ulf.
