Hello Jan-Olof and Ron,

SAFARI torpedoed the LIV in Port Torres, she was lying alongside the jetty and sank in 20 feet of water. I am not sure if she suffered further damage from air attack the next day but it is possible.
PEPPINO PALOMBA is reported to have been torpedoed on 8.5.43 near Santa Maura Island (Lefkadas, Adriatic), SAFARI had nothing to do with it. I do not have any submarine operating in the Adriatic at this time. She may have been mined, possibly by RORQUAL which laid a minefield in the area on 30.8.42.

Best regards,
