According to JANAC the vessel was HAYATAKA MARU but Japanese Monograph no.116 states she was SORYU MARU of 856 GRT. The latter is usually more reliable. But as Jan-Olof points out they seem to refer to the same vessel and this is possibly a difference in translation.
Note that the Lloyds Register of Shipping of 1941-1942 lists only the HAYATAKA MARU (836 GRT, built by Mitsui in 1923, ex-HOKKAI MARU no.2).
