Thank you for, once again, clarifying the chain of events. It's comforting to know that there is someone on this forum that has first hand knowledge of/access to allied sub patrol reports. To me it seems that the activities of british, greek, polish subs etc has been 'under'-researched compared to what's been written about the german u-boats.

For a while a was starting to suspect that the british had destroyed their own submarine patrol reports like they did with much of their Atlantic convoy material. Fortunately my suspicions seems to have been unfounded.
