This is what I have about Acacia :
USS Acacia (WAGL 200)
United States - Lighthouse Tender (Speedwell) 1,130 tons
Built 1919 - Fabricated Shipbuilding and Coddington Engineering Co, Milwaukee - built as minesweeper USS GENERAL JOHN P STORY. Acquired on 14 April 1927 by the Lighthouse Service of the US Coast Guard, rebuilt as lighthouse tender and renamed USS ACACIA
Voyage Curaçao - Antigua
Attacked by U-161 - Albrecht Achilles
Date of attack 15 March 1942 11:37 CET
Caribbean, south of Haiti
German Naval Grid ED 2955
Weapon used gunfire Result of attack sunk
Complement 31 Casualties none - 31 survivors
this was the only Lighthouse Service vessel lost during the war U-161 sank her with 68 rounds 10.5 centimetre incendiary and explosive shells, 92 rounds 3.7 centimetre shells and 70 rounds 2.0 centimetre shells
