Re: Aden Force
According to naval-history.net Ceres left Colombo with unknown destination on June 9th, which means that she could not be in Aden on June 10th.
Only in August she joined that Force for evacuation operations in Somalia.

Re: TANKER ARSIA
According to uboat.net the Arsia that was damaged (total loss) by HMS Unique was a cargo ship, not a tanker: https://uboat.net/allies/warships/ship/3534.html (see 03.06.1941) Wiki says that Papanikolis on her patrol from 31. August to 15. September 1942 unsuccessfully attacked an 8000t oil carrier w...

Re: Admiral Hipper at the Battle of Barents Sea
It is interesting that at least at NARA the only available war diary from the battle at Barents Sea is the one of the machinery. It does say nothing about KIA and WIA except that the Ardexin for fire extinguishig caused some losses. All other information about the battle com from reports like the on...

Re: Z-28 - Scharnhorst casualties
Hello Jordi! Concerning Z 28 : There is a three page action report from this bomb attack which states that Z 28 was very, very lucky to survive it. Two bombs of about 500 kg exploded on the pier 15 m next to the ship and one pierced the pier and went into the mud next to the destroyer without explod...

Also from me a warm welcome back.
Good luck for handling the new software.
If you come across technical problems that you can't handle yourself please feel free to ask. As I run a naval forum myself there may be a chance that I can help you.
