Re: Capture of Veslekari on a special mission

Yes, my text was confusing. VESLEKARI was captured by FRIDTJOF NANSEN in Arcticsund. I have corrected my text.

Re: Norwegian boats escaping from Norway to Lerwick 1941

Hello. Your list is a mix of fishing boats arriving form Norway with refugees, fishing boats arriving from Iceland, "Shetland" bus, 'Anklet' boats, fishing vessels used in UK and even a Norwegian navy motor torpedo boat MTB.56. What information are you looking for? Can EROS be ENOS? Regards

Heureux and Tatiana

The auxiliary patrol boat Heureux and auxiliary minesweeper Tatiana, both listed as seized by British 3.7.1940, were both paid off in Casablanca September 1940. How did they end up in Vichy-French Morocco?

Re: French W31-33

Thank you very much!
I am looking for information on auxiliary crafts (A/P vessels). This was new information to me.
Do you know the D-number for French A/P vessels 1943-45, too?
Regards

Re: BROCHET and ARS-EN-RE

The armistice between Italy and France was effective from 25 June 1940. Was there any fighting between France and Italy later in 1940? (Porto Torres is on northern Sardinia).

Re: BROCHET and ARS-EN-RE

Thank you.
Both vessels are Italian, do you know how they ended in the Vichy French navy in 1940?
