WHICH SHIP?
Hello!
Can anyone possibly identify this ship?
It is mentioned as the 1938 norwegian MV Rigel but it is certainly not. There is a "T" on the funnel. It is not the TRANSCOMAR steamer Rigel either

Sinfra???
Hello!
I am looking for the movements of the MV SINFRA in the Aegean between 12-16 September 1943. Is there any information perhaps? I have some individual references about Salonika, Leros, Piraeus but nothing certain.
Thank you!

Piroscafo Motia
Hello!
I am looking information about an italian steamer called MOTIA which was present in WW2. I wonder if there is any technical info and if that ship had a notable event during its career. In the web there is nothing special unfortunately.
Thank you!

The question is, does anyone know what was the order of battle, the squadron or the organization tree at which the two destroyers belonged to? Thank y...

Re: U-Jäger loss confusion
In my database I have: UJ-2102 surviving the engagement and reaching the nearby Volos harbor where it was bombed. UJ-2144 sunk near Poseidi beach (South of Salonika) on 6 Ocrober at 2200 by two destroyers probably the usual suspects. The reference to UJ-2101/Strymon is obviously a typo, as it had al...

Re: CONVOY GREECE 2 OCTOBER 1944
I can only say, I thank you all (just wonder when then time will come for me to track such sources by myself...) One last thing. I know that Bertha was handed over to the Germans in November 1942 at the port of Marseille and that previously (1939) it had been requisitioned by the French Navy. I can ...

Re: Yugoslav SPASILAC
According to Platon's book, in mid April 1943, the Instancabile was busy, together with the tug Tennax , in salvaging the oiler Marie Maersk which had been sunk in Piraeus in April 1941. It was during that period (1 April 1943) that Instancabile detected by Katsonis entering Milos bay together with ...

Re: Convoy AT.36
The ships of that convoy were:
DELPHINIUM, PRIMULA, SNAPDRAGON, FAREHAM, ERIDGE, BEAUFORT, FIRMAMENT.
They departed from Alexandria on 31/3 at 12:31. No merchants sailed with them.
May I ask what you are after?
