If you look at battle honours during Batlle of Spartivento you can see the following ships:

Hereward, Diamond, Defender, Greyhound, Gallant, Vidette: All of the have battle honours for this battle but Griffin not.

It's a pity!
I think DD Vidette was all the time with convoy but independent from Force F because Force F had to head towards Malta but Vidette not. She had to return to Gibraltar. But after entering in the Mediterranean she's not mentioned any more.
