Anneberg, Baron Graham, Frumenton and Lista had previously returned to port from ON 33.

Tjaldur was on her 2nd voyage as Rescue Vessel, joined from Clyde Nov. 10, to Iceland Nov. 17 (arrived short of fuel).
Independent passage Nov. 18-Nov. 22, intending to return to Clyde, but went back to Reykjavik.
Independent passage to Clyde Dec. 3-Dec. 8
Her 3rd and last attempt as R.V. was with ON 50, when she returned to Clyde with defects, Dec. 24-Dec. 26-1941 (subsequently discarded).
(This info from "Convoy Rescue Ships 1940-1945" Arnold Hague).

Notes:
Commodore R. J. Rowley-Conwy R.N.R. was in Amakura, Vice Commodore was the captain of Widestone, Rear Commodore is given as the captain of Stanwell (bound for Savannah - however, this ship is not listed on the convoy form - she shows up again in Convoy ON 37).

When going to A. Hague's listing for Convoy ON 35 it'll be noticed that he has no ship named Enikmon. There is, however, a Greek Aliakmon, which is said to have sunk following a collision with the British Loreto from Convoy SC 55 on Nov. 22.

The convoy had 27 ships (not including Tjaldur) - 8 were present at time of dispersal in 46 09N 54 27W at 06:00 on Nov. 27.
Average speed: 7 1/2 knots

Peter Maersk (not included in table above) parted company at 22:30 Nov. 9 and proceeded to Clyde alone - could not steer at slow speed.

Iceland bound ships Tjaldur, Advance Guard, Mammy and Jernfjeld left at 17:00 Nov. 13 with escort Thirlmere, 60 23N 14 21W.
Puck left for Iceland at 08:30 on Nov. 15 with local escort, 61 48N 23 27W. At the same time the following ships joined: Bestik, Tarazed, Almaack and Narlago.

Widestone parted company for Wabana at 12:00 on Nov. 25 in 48 43N 50 39W.

Bestik broke down with engine problems astern of convoy - informed by rear escort at 13:55 Nov. 20 rejoined later.
At 15:15 on Nov. 18, Commodore received information from escort that Empire Mouflon had a boiler explosion resulting in man (or men?) being badly scalded - going ahead under own power. Rejoined convoy on Nov. 21, but dropped out during that night.

Radchurch was a "bad station keeper, always too far ahead". At 06:30 on Nov. 15 she was a mile ahead of station.

At 15:00 on Nov. 14 Convoy HX 158 passed on the port beam, off course.

Narrative of voyage is available on Page 2

Escorts:
Ocean: HMS Keppel (S.O.), Venomous, Rockingham, Sunflower, Alisma, Kingcup, Lady Elsa, Wellard and Letiger (should this be Le Tiger?). Keppel and Venomous were in a collision at midnight on Nov. 11 in 58 40N 05 32W.
The others were relieved at 08:30 on Nov. 15 in 61 48N 23 27W by USS Dallas (S.O.), Captain M. Y. Cohen, Eberle, Upshur, Ericsson, Ellis and HMCS Sherbrooke.

Air Escort:
Met at 12:00 on Nov. 14 in 61 04N 19 00W,
and at 08:30 Nov. 15 in 61 48N 23 27W,
and at 09:50 Nov. 16 in 60 15N 29 20W.
