M/B WAILET

My father, Kristian Magnus Røre left Fedje in early May 1940 on his fishing boat WAILET, it was skippered by Mons Storemark from Fedje as my father had little knowledge of navigation. The purpose of the trip was to take a British official to Shetland.
According to this site, the official was a manager from the convoy office in Bergen. On their arrival to Lerwick, they were ordered to proceed to Buckie where his boat was taken off him and he was sent to join the Norwegian merchant service. He later married a Scottish girl whom he took to Norway after the war. In the 50's they moved to Scotland where they lived for the rest of their lives.
My children now want to know more about their late grandfather's exploits. Many years ago I asked my father about this man, but as he could not speak Norwegian, he knew nothing about him.
Does anyone know anything about this British official?
If I found his name, I might be able to access his story from The National Archives London
I'd be grateful for any information or suggestions
