During operation Torch November 1942 the boom (defence) vessels PERSISTANTE (1939) was stationed at Casablanca, PUISSANTE (1934) and ANTEE (1909) x VULCAIN at Oran and SERVANTE (1941) at Bizerte?
SERVANTE was seized (scuttled) at Bizerte 9.12.1942, sunk by aircrafts at Bizerte 2.7.1943. Did any of the other vessels receive any damage during the periode.?

Helllo,

For Antée and Puissante, the book of the Naval Historical Service dedicated to Operation Torch and in particular to the fighting in Oran does not mention these two ships while all the civil or military ships are cited during the scuttling operations on the 9th.
I did not find any documents relating to these two buildings during my research.
It is likely that the Antée and the Puissante were anchored at Mers El Kébir and suffered no damage during Operation Torch.
