Hello,
on 6 October 1943 the Italian torpedo boat Clio and corvette Urania sailed from Augusta to escort to Taranto a British tanker. This was the first Allied ship to be escorted by Italian vessels as part of the "co-belligerence" after the armistice of Cassibile. On the following day, the tanker was damaged by a mine but reached Taranto with the assistance of two tugs. Does anyone know the name of this tanker?
