Hi all,

I'm trying to find which 10 British destroyers were involved in Operation Hurry 31/7/40 in the Mediterranean.

Sure are the following ones: Greyhound, Gallant, Encounter, Hotspur, Faulknor, Forester..................the other 4 are doubtful although 4 of the following ones took part in the operation.

They are: Foxhound, Foresight, Fearless, Velox, Escapade, Active, Wrestler. Which ones?

Force H departed Gibraltar on 31 July for Operation HURRY with battlecruiser HOOD, battleship VALIANT, aircraft carriers ARK ROYAL and ARGUS, light cruisers ARETHUSA and ENTERPRISE, destroyers FAULKNOR, FORESTER, FEARLESS, ESCAPADE, ACTIVE, WRESTLER, ENCOUNTER, GALLANT, GREYHOUND, HOTSPUR.

They seem to have been Escapade, Foxhound, Foresight and Velox
