Hi all,

Is there any explanation for the loss of British submarine Regulus in November-December 1940 in the Strait of Otranto?

Italians claimed sinking an enemy submarine around this date but I have no more details.

Hi Jordi,

I have not seen any Italian claim to have sunk a submarine at the time of HMS Regulus loss. She was probably mined.
