Re: Question to forum members
Very glad to hear that!
We had quite an attack on the forum yesterday but I was able to stop it fairly quickly. Hopefully, we’ll be left alone for a while. But the price we pay is that anyone who wants to register now has to be approved by me, and I don’t like that feature, but it had to be done, at least temporarily.

Re: Question to forum members
Nothing untoward in my inbox.
On a forum that I am involved with we block ISPs of known spammers (and had no negative feedback from genuine members)

And in one of such forums (jaircraft) I´m trying to get my IP from the black list for 1,5 years now ...davidships wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 10:44 pm On a forum that I am involved with we block ISPs of known spammers (and had no negative feedback from genuine members)

Re: Question to forum members
Sorry to hear that Darius - not a forum I know anything about.
If we knowingly have an existing member with same IP, we normally put it on a watch list for new membership registrations which can then be blocked, rather than block the IP itself. Perhaps that's the reason for no complaints.
