Hello, I'm new to the site and apologize if I'm posting my question in the wrong place. I'm wondering if there is any site to look up those from WW2. My first cousin left Ontario, Canada and joined the Royal Norwegian Navy at the age of 15 years old. He served in North Africa and Italy and according to an interview he gave small town newspaper back in 1989, he was shot three times and was decorated for his service. Sadly, I am at a loss where to obtain any information. Fold3, Ancestry and Newspapers com have all been unsuccessful. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hello,
Try contacting the National Archives of Norway, they may have a record of his service, or could at least send you in the right direction, if those records are kept elsewhere. Just a warning, you may not get a reply straight away, so patience is a benefit; they will reply eventually.

Hello,
Thank you very much for the suggestion. Patience is something that comes easy for me but I appreciate the heads up.
