Hi all,
British destroyer Penylan was torpedoed and sunk by S.115 in the English Channel 3/12/42 while escorting convoy PW-257.
The convoy was composed by 7 merchants escorted by 2 escort destroyers, 5 trawlers and 3 ML motor launches.
I'm trying to identify those ships:
Merchants:

Escorts:
DE Penylan, Tynedale
TW Ensay, 4 more
ML ?
Thank you very much
Jordi

Re: HMS Penylan
hi,
greetings, Urs
The Gâtinais was sunk during the same attack by 5th Schnellboot flotilla, by boats S 81 and/or S 116, just a few minutes earlier.Jordi Comas wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 1:02 pm British destroyer Penylan was torpedoed and sunk by S.115 in the English Channel 3/12/42 while escorting convoy PW-257.
