Unwelcome visitors
Unwelcome visitors
I just happened to notice we already got a spam message, some of you may have seen it too - my heart just sank....
I was able to figure out how to delete it, and also ban the poster permanently. This type of forum is completely new territory to me, but I’ll figure out how to safely moderate it eventually. One thing is for sure, spam will not be tolerated!

Because of the above mentioned spam message, which was so freely posted, I’ve found it necessary to turn the moderation back on for newly registered users. Their first 2 messages after registration will be moderated, but after that they can post without going into the moderation queue. Bear with me, we WILL figure it all out!

Hello Siri,
just a try, not a permanent solution. KI won´t sleep.
But keep on fighting.

Block them completely.

I’m trying! But it’s hard to keep up, several more overnight. We’ll figure it out.

Re: Unwelcome visitors
Hello everyone. I have created a simple question in the registration form for the forums that simply asks them to enter warsailors with a capital W before submitting their registration. I'm hoping that will be enough to avoid automatic bot registrations and reduce the spam moderation load for Siri. It won't prevent active human spammers actually reading the registration instructions but let us see what impact it has. - KML
