Hi,
I´m looking for more details on the collision which occured here:
14./15.01.1944 off Cape Bone french steamer SAINTE MAXIME (4051 BRT, b. 1911) was sunk in collision with the US Liberty-type vessel WENDELL PHILIPPS.
Where this vessels in a convoy? Any data on voyage, losses, escorts?
Thank you
Darius

Wendell Phillips was part of convoy KMS 37, but Sainte Maxime was not:

Hi Thorsten,
Sainte Maxime was sailing from Naples to Bizerta while convoy KMS-37 was on route from Gibraltar to Port Said.
