Short question:

Do you know time of German air attack against British sloop Bittern 30/4/40 off Namsos?

Hi Jordi,

On 30 April from 0930 hours under almost continuous air attacks by JU 87 (3/StG 1) in groups of 3 and 9. Finally hit by bomb at 1544 and set afire. Eight wounded (no deaths). HMS CARLISLE took 130 survivors and HMS JANUS torpedoed the wreck at 1629, she sank in 100 fathoms.

I would just add one thing - apparently there were deaths - Naval History site lists twenty men missing or killed in the loss of Bittern

I have also 20 killed and 11 wounded but...........
