I have just seen your question about the losses of French ships in Indochina. No ships was lost during 1940 - 1941 period. Here is a summary of the losses of navy ships during the wae. I have also a list of merchant ships for the same period.
Light cruiser Lamotte-Picquet: Sunk on January 12, 1945 by american air raid at Than Tuy Ha (near Saigon).
Colonial Aviso Amiral Charner: sunk on March 10, 1945 by Japanese bombardment and scuttling.
Aviso Tahure: sunk in the night of April 29 to 30, 1944 by the submarine
USS Flasher 5 miles northeast of Cape Varella with cargo ship Song Giang.
Aviso Marne: scuttled at Cantho the March 10, 1945.
Hydrographer ship Lapérouse: scuttled at Cantho the March 12, 1945.
Hydrogrzapher ship Octant : sunk by american air raid at anchor near Lamotte-Piquet and the same day.
Hydrographer Astrolabe: sunk by american air raid in the river near Tourane the february 26, 1944.
Submarine Pégase: disarmed because of serious battery problems in the Arroyo de l'Avanche near Qaigon, scuttled January 1, 1951 as bitter at the mouth of the Mekong near Bassac.
River gunboat Francis Garnier: sunk in Kratie on 9 March 1945 by japanese artillery.
River gunboats Vigilante and Commandant Bourdais : scuttled at Haiphong the march 9, 1945.
River gunboat Avalanche : scuttled and gunfired by Amirl Charner at Mytho the March 10,1945.
River gunboat Mytho : sunk by gunfire of Avalanche and Amiral Charner the march 10,1945 at Mytho when japanese soldiers took she to the boarding.
River gunboat Tourane: scutlled in the river Song Bé.
Netlayer Cam Ranh:scuttled the March 11,1945 in the river Song Ham Luong.
Auxiliary minsweeper Armand Rousseau (AD 347): sized by Japanese the March 9, 1945 at Saigon and later sunk in May 1945 by american air raid in Rach La.
Auxiliary minesweeper Béryl (AD 305):sunk all ahnds by the submarine USS Bowflin with cargo ship Van Vollenhoven near cap Varella the November 26, 1943.
Auxiliary minesweeper Capitaine Coulon (AD 314):scuttled at Cantho the March 12, 1945.
Auxiliary minesweeper Paul Bert (AD 315): sunk by gunfire of Avalanche and Amiral Charner the march 10,1945 at Mytho.
Auxiliary minsweeper Directeur Général Picanon : sunk by american air raid in the river near Tourane the February 26, 1944, salved and foundered the October 3, 1944 near Tiger Island.
