Hello!
Can anyone possibly identify this ship?
It is mentioned as the 1938 norwegian MV Rigel but it is certainly not. There is a "T" on the funnel. It is not the TRANSCOMAR steamer Rigel either

Re: WHICH SHIP?
Hello,
According with the Merchant Ship - 1942 edit by Talbot, this funne was the funnel of the Trelleborgs Anginya Aktieb (J. Malmros, Mgr) of Trelleborg (Sweden).
In the Lloyd of 1939, a ship named Rigel belong to this company :
Delivered in 11/1936 by Deutsche Werft of Hamburg - GRT : 977 - NRT : 525 - 205.0 x 32.3 x 15.1 - one oil engine MAN of 161 NHP and the mention "carrying Petroleum in Bulk".
Regards
Alain
