C 2, Wilhelmshaven

Post by davidships » Wed Feb 09, 2022 8:38 pm

Can anyone identify this German vessel, apparently taken at Wilhelmshaven (published Photo Droppel) and named "C 2" (undated)?

Probably an ex-tug (note towing hook), but with too much added aft for that role - and so apparently absent from Gröner Vol.6. Perhaps for buoy maintenance or a diving vessel - crane aft apparently handling a small boat, and a stock of what looks like small marker-buoys
