Torghatten

Hello

I saw that the Swedish passengership Eskilstuna Express (288 grt./1928) was renamed Torghatten. In Lloyd's 1942-43 her flag changes from Swedish to Norwegian (still as Eskilstuna Express) but only after the war (I found it in Lloyd's 1947-48 but I do not have access to Lloyd's 1946-47) did Lloyd's change her name to Torghatten with namechange dated 1941. In Groener's Taschenbug 1942 it is already named Torghatten and given as Norwegian. But a ship of that name I can not find on this site so I am sure this is not the full story or it would be on it. So does somebody have the full story? Miramar only gives some info on the building of this ship but no further info.

Yes Davidships, that certainly helps and the info that she was sold in August 1941 is the icing on the cake. The text with the photo (thank you Google Translate) helps also by putting it all in the correct (Quisling) context. All in all exactly what I was looking for so thank you very much!
