Phil, many thanks

but according to Lenton, Wivenhoe yard list & Polish sources
MMS 1084 was built by Wivenhoe and 1946 registered as ADMIRAL HAWKINS , then became Polish URANIA

I have asked about ADMIRAL STURDEE

Shipyard list of Rowhedge Ironworks Ltd mentioned no any MMS boat built there :O

I am very suprised that I could not easy find any list of post WW2 fates of MMS boats.

The 1947 Mercantile Navy List shows several “Admirals” owned by William Phillips of Stratton Street, London W1.
Admiral Fisher
Admiral Grenville
Admiral Hawkins
Admiral Keyes
Admiral Sturdie (sic)
Admiral Vernon

Sturdee is shown as being built in 1944 at Meteghan, Canada – so presumably one of MMS.1050 / MMS.1052 / MMS.1054 / MMS.1056 / MMS.1057 /MMS.1058 /MMS/1059

British and Commonwealth Warships by H T Lenton does identify several MMS’s as being sold out to be renamed after Admirals –
MMS.1031 – Admiral Fisher
MMS.1051 – Admiral Blake
MMS.1053 – Admiral Drake
MMS.1055 – Admiral Pound
MMS.1070 – Admiral Grenville
MMS.1084 – Admiral Hawkins

with the shipyard:
W . A . PHILLIPS , ANDERSON & CO . LTD ., WEST HARBOUR ROAD . GRANTON, Edinburgh

There was shipowner company
