It is interesting that at least at NARA the only available war diary from the battle at Barents Sea is the one of the machinery. It does say nothing about KIA and WIA except that the Ardexin for fire extinguishig caused some losses. All other information about the battle com from reports like the on...

Hello Jordi! Concerning Z 28 : There is a three page action report from this bomb attack which states that Z 28 was very, very lucky to survive it. Two bombs of about 500 kg exploded on the pier 15 m next to the ship and one pierced the pier and went into the mud next to the destroyer without explod...
