Fantastic news Platon!
Outstanding job as usual :)

Do you plan to open a topic where we can submit the very small number of errors or updates?

Re: Submarine or tuna attack on Oct. 2nd, 1940

Jan-Olof do we know the companions of M-16 while attacked?
And Platon what is written about the convoy that H.49 attacked?

AN6897 is not far from 53°11.5' N, 04°34.5' E (~20 Nm) so that would make pretty good match.

Re: French tug COSTAUD

Hey David, doubt that ship was sunk on May 27th raised within 4 days and sunk again. Nobody was concerned with sunken vessels during the Dunkirk evacuation. On FMA they list COSTAUD as sunk on 31st: https://www.forum-marinearchiv.de/ablage/artikel/duenkirchen.html Don Kindell provides the reason (Ge...

Re: Mysterious sinking on 10 June 1943 and submarine Brin

Dear Platon, Arnold Hague does not list a single casualty for this convoy, so I guess this was a bogus sighting. The list of ships in the convoy: BJORKHAUG EMPIRE COMMERCE II EMPIRE FLAMINGO ENSIS EXPLORER FORT CONFIDENCE GOVERT FLINCK JOHN PAGE NEURALIA PANAMA REGIN TALAMBA YOMA Hope that helps! An...

Re: HMS Olympus

Dear Platon,

These sites:
https://maltagc70.wordpress.com/hms-oly ... alty-list/

https://www.naval-history.net/xDKCas1942-05MAY.htm

does not list Leading Stoker Stanley JONES as KIA so perhaps this was not an error and indeed he was the 10th survivor?

All the best,
Andrzej
