Thank you very much
Jordi

HMS Huntley
Hi all,
British minesweeper Huntley was sunk by 2 German He-111 around 30 m W of Mersa Matruh 31/1/41. Any more details?
I think she possibly was escorting Egyptian transport Solloum from Mersa Matruh to Tobruk with 250 Italian POW. Is it right? Time of the attack?
Thank you very much
Jordi

Re: PESCARA???
Hi George,
According to my sources the ship was scuttled by Germans not mined and was refloated and commissioned after the war. Built in 1898.

HMS Esk - HMS Ivanhoe Casualties
Hi all, British destroyers Esk (sunk), Ivanhoe (sunk) and Express (damaged) were mined on 31 August 1940 off Texel Island. I'm trying to find how many survivors were on both destroyers rescued by their own forces. Esk had: 135 killed, 1 wounded? and 25 survivors captured by Germans. Wounded and resc...
