I was wondering if anybody knew where I possible could find a book called

"The Story of 19 Oslo ships during the World War, from April 1940 until the End of the War in 1945"

Its author is Harald Nicolaisen (1945)

And covers ships under Halfdan Ditlev-Simonsen & Co., O. Ditlev-Simonsen jr., Sverre Ditlev-Simonsen & Co., John P. Pedersen & Søn, Helmer Staubo & Co. Based on the diaries and logs of 19 ships.

Thank you very much.

If I remember correctly, I received my copy from one of the companies covered in the book, for use in connection with my website (warsailors.com). You could try contacting Halfdan Ditlev Simonsen through their website, maybe they can tell you if it's still available [www.vee-marine.com]

P.S. Note that the book is in Norwegian.

I came across you post by coincidence. I have the book in my bookshelf (book no. 21) . Any information I can provide to you?

P.S. The book is not for sale. I am a decendant of JPP.
