Hei Nils Arne.
I cant find any written stories about your family on the internet, but I can scan what I have about your grandfather - picture and some more information, all in norwegian. (Your email adress?)
Then your questions. Your uncle E.Haug was captain onboard the patrol craft and subhunter KING HAAKON VII (ex USN PC 467) from 23.3.1945 until 1947. He left Key West (USA) on the 4 June 1945 and arrived Kristiansand on the 26 of June. But the Royal family arrived to Norway (Oslo) on 7 of June 1945 onboard HMS NORFOLK.
Your grandfather received a silverbowl from the British Government after rescuing the crew onboard the S/S THREEMEDOW of St. Ives in the British Channel in January 1916. The steamer was torpedoed.
I guess you can have more details if you put a question about this in the Ship forum.
Regards Rolf
