Thank you for the additional details. I have not seen any report in Allied sources that the crew were picked up by them so it appears all perished as Darius wrote.
I have been wondering if S-35 really hit a drifting mine or perhaps a mine laid by HMS Abdiel [the boats of 3.SFL had a brief contact with her] the same night but then we will shall never know for sure.
