In a British document from 4.45, there is a mention of a certain "s.s. HESPERUS ex.SEESTROOM" which was found in Volos during the Greek liberation and was seized by the Greek authorities as a war prize. Apparently she was a former German vessel.
In Greek documents she is listed as ESPEROS.
In another British document of 5.45 there is a question whether this "Red Cross ship was operating under an Allied Safe Conduct Pass".
Can anyone provide any information on SEESTROOM?
