During 1942-44, Cantieri Navale di Quarnaro, Fiume, completed a series of motor cargo vessels for Societa Anonima di Navigazione Tirrenia of Naples. The vessels were named ALFIERI, D'ANNUNZIO, FOSCOLO, LEOPARDI, MANZONI, NICOLO TOMMASEO and VITTORIO LOCCHI. Gross tonnages ranged from 4550 to 4573, overall length was 111.3 metres, breadth 15.2 metres and speed 14.5 knots. All of the vessels became war losses.
I have been trying to find the deadweight tonnage and draught or depth of the vessels, without success, and would be pleased to hear from any member of this forum who can provide such information.
Best regards
Roger
