Attack on U 8 3.6.1940

Hello again,
I might have asked this before, however a search for U 8 yielded no hits, but here goes.
According to KTB U 8 (Kurzfassung)
03.06.1940 AN 4943 0814 HMS SS iS., getaucht, nach 20' Torpedo gehört.
Was there in fact any allied submarine in the vicinity?
