Hello all

I am looking for some information regarding the whaler "Star XIV" (247grt/1929) which was captured by the German raider "Pinguin" on the 14 January 1941. This is well documented at Siri's pages.

But what is her story when in service with the Kriegsmarine as UJ 1107 / UJ 1215 and V.6503? It seems like they did not gave her a name, just the numbers?
Anybody who can give me the flottillas, where stationed etc.

I have also found that she collided as UJ 1107 0n the 14 January 1943 nearby Rotvær, Norway, with German "Dessau" (5933grt/1936). Anybody who have some details about the incident - voyage,convoi,salvage etc?
